5 Weird Things About Me

I was tagged by Paula at full of life.

Five weird habits of yourself:

“The first player of this game starts with the topic ‘five weird habits of yourself,’ and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. Don’t forget to leave a comment in their blog or journal that says ‘You are tagged’ (assuming they take comments) and tell them to read yours.”

1. I often read 4-5 books at a time, but usually on the same topics or in the same genre.

2. I hate ketchup and I hate eggs... But I love the two together.

3. I can only eat meat if it's fruity. I love Indian curries with fruit in them. I really don't care for meat, unless it's cooked with fruit... I love pineapple chicken... And this I'll serve with Orzo with cranberries and apples... And baby spinach salad with raspberry vinaigrette. I think I'm a Fruitarian.

4. I have to wash dishes in a certain order, and I have to wash my dishes before I can clean anything in the house. If I've washed all the glasses and I've started on dishes, and someone brings me a glass, it completely throws me for a loop. (I don't visibly show it, but really, it does!)

5. I'm always creating schedules and lists and organizing things, but I'm not organized... But I think I will get organized by osmosis or something... If I keep making schedules and lists...

Now, I'm not going to tag anyone in particular... I'd tag Penni but I see she just did another tag... And I'd tag Amy, but I don't want to interupt her meltdown at a bad time... So if you read this and you want to play, consider yourself tagged. Leave a me a note in my comments so I can come read what you wrote. ;)

Just an aside... I have a question. (Thinking of Penni and Amy reminded me.) I'm reading an excellent book called "A Mother's Rule of Life" written by a Catholic woman, Holly Pierot... In it she often includes footnotes that refer to CCC followed by a number (usually three digits). What does CCC stand for? Is it perhaps the Catechism?

Yes, CCC refers to the "new" Catechism (published in 1994).

yes, the CCC is the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which is actually a very cool read :)

i would take the tag back, but if i add five more odd things about myself, i will then lose my cyberfriends as well (!)

(j/k)

Thanks J & P. ;) I thought it might mean that, but I couldn't get "Roman" in there, LOL - And when I googled it I got things like Calgon Carbon's stock ticker, City Colleges of Chicago, Cheat Code Central, Campus Crusade for Christ, Caribbean Conservation Corp, etc. ;)

If I had paid closer attention to Penni's blog on Sin I could have had a lightbulb moment.. I did remember you had mentioned the catechism!.... I just went back and found out it's actually a *clickable* link, too. Pretty cool! I'm going to go look up those numbers!

You did it!

I read numerous books at at time, too, but NOT on the same topic/theme.

I don't need wash glasses first, but I "get" that--have things like that about me.
