Looks like someone didn't want her picture taken! Did Jane get her hair cut? For some reason I thought she had longer hair. Elizabeth's hair is such a beautiful color! So festive! ;) I always wanted red hair when I was young!

They didn't know I was taking their picture (Elizabeth noticed the moment I snapped ;) Jane is always looking for creepy crawlies, so that's why she's looking away. --- Yes, Jane did get her hair cut... shorter than she wanted, but it's growing out. ;) -- Elizabeth loves fall and fall colors... her wardrobe and hair always look great in autumn snapshots, LOL

The Bennets

Taking a cue from Zelie I've decided to rename my kids after the five daughters in one of my favorite literary works "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. Henceforth my five daughters shall be known as Jane, Elizabeth "Lizzy", Mary, Catherine "Kitty", and Lydia. It will be a bit confusing for me at first, as our Elisabeth will not be Elizabeth. ;o) But it will be fun. I've always had a hard time giving my youngest three clever names, and now this will solve the problem. I will change their names in the side bar later.
