Rural Delivery, Part Two

Just now I was startled by a car coming down my drive honking and honking. Out here in the Boonies you hear that sound and you think it's a neighbor needing help, and needing help PDQ. So I ran out PDQ. But nope, to my stunned surprise it was C.B. Like the Radio, bringing me a package, even though the ladies at the local P.O. say "he's not allowed to go down any drives" -- Go down a drive he did! Now wasn't that nice? I think it was PDN.

LOL! I love the mailman stories.

Our rural carrier also honks frantically as he comes up to the house. I then meet him outside and retrieve my package.

Now what I don't understand is how the UPS man seems to show up undetected. I mean I'm home the whole day and don't hear or see a thing, but then find a package laying just inside the kitchen door. How does he do that?

My UPS man too!! He doesn't leave it inside, but just on the wooden front porch (where you can hear anyone walk)... but I never see his van, or hear him, and our dog doesn't bark at him! (And she barks at *everyone*)
