Catherine did that thing that most Fours do once. Found a stray pair of scissors. Cropped hair.

Lydia was the lucky recipient of a shearing. Came to me. Said in a sad, plaintive voice.. "Catherine cut my hair".

Catherine with the habit of mis-quoting terms ("It was an accident" and "I didn't do it on purpose") said with accidental honesty "I did it on purpose!"

Thankfully Lydia's honey locks are so abundantly abundant, the damage does not show.

Ugh we had that happen once!!! My oldest ds was about 6.5 and thought it'd be fun to see what his 2.5yo sister's hair did in the box fan. So he cut a chunk out of the back, 4" long, and let it go through the fan. :-P

My beautiful Megan once had lovely long curls at the bottom of her long golden hair and...she cut them off and...those curls never did come back :o(

Sigh...I have a 3rd grade photo of myself with my own haircut.

What? Joanne! Who could have nominated me??? Who would have?? Now that I know about this, Penni's comment about coming here and resting makes more sense. ;)

I was like... resting?? In this chaos? (I've had to remove a kitten from my keyboard three times while typing just this!) LOL

Anyway, whoever did do the nominating, I'm honored to think you do find this blog a restful place. Thank you.

We have not had that happen here yet, although Mia is into everything and I suspect she will be the one to take the leap and start cutting.

Oh those days are always fun. My daughter emmiko hacked her hair up so awful that I seriously considered shaving her bald and just starting over.

That's happened here a few times. You can't tell it on your beautiful little lady, however our experience was a sheering right down to the scalp. Ummm, very noticeable,LOL!
