A Small Quandry

Some of you who know me personally know I use ficticious names for my daughters on this blog. You may also know I borrowed the names from five daughters in one of my favorite books. Now I'm trying to think of names for six daughters. ;) I won't name them after George the III's six daughters, for George was a madman and Steadfast is not. Tevye had six daughters in some of Sholom Aleichem's books... five in one, seven in another... but Tzeitel, Hodel, Chava, Shprintze, Bielke and Teibel may mislead people into thinking that we're Jewish and Steadfast is a milkman. ;) - So I may just scrub the literary and historical references and make up some. Just be forewarned... if you arrive here and the names are different, it's still me and my gals (and Steadfast) ;)

Hey, Amy. You pregnant again yet? You have some catchin' up to do. ;) You may even pass me up someday... I'm getting old. ;) And do you have a new blog somewhere? Your old link doesn't work.

I do like the classical names you've picked. I was actually thinking of giving them Hobbit names. ;)

I wonder what the March sisters would have been called, had they had two more sisters....

start branching out now...you never know if you will need to find a family with 7 names!!

How about (and there are 7, so it leaves room for one more ;) ):

Milly
Dorcas
Alice
Sarah
Liza
Ruth
Martha

Know what they are from? Do you watch musicals from the 50's? Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (1954).

It's a though, anyway.
