Thank you so much for linking this article, this is something God has been speaking volumes to me about lately, and this is just one more way in which He has chosen to get my attention.
Good reminder. Thanks so much for sharing it. It's a hard habit to break once a woman gets set in her ways like that. Reminders help us not make it a habit.
Thank you for this article. My husband and I have been complaining for years about the way the media portrays men (as idiots) but it was a good, convicting reminder to look at how I treat MY man. Finding your blog has been like finding an oasis in a desert.
I think a lot of the troubles we face as a society would come to an end if men were allowed to be men. Sounds easy enough, but everytime we turn around, men are treated like toddlers. It is sad.

Or they expect me to recant how, throughout the Bible, God considers children a blessing to be desired (in the stories of Abraham & Sarah... of Isaac & Rebecca... of Rachel & Leah... of Hannah) But for us it was not only what we found in scripture, but in looking at God'
Taking a cue from Zelie I've decided to rename my kids after the five daughters in one of my favorite literary works "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. Henceforth my five daughters shall be known as Jane, Elizabeth "Lizzy", Mary, Catherine "Kitty", and Lydia. It will be a bit confusing for me at first, as our Elisabeth will not be Elizabeth. ;o) But it will be fun. I've always had a hard time giving my youngest three clever names, and now this will solve the problem. I will change their names in the side bar later.
